Nicolas Jay L’Ensemble Pinot Noir 2022 is a meticulously crafted cuvée, embodying the finest expressions of the vineyard`s barrels. The wine undergoes native yeast fermentation and is bottled unfined and unfiltered, emphasising its purity. An additional six months in barrel enhances its structure and ageing potential. Its dark, brooding hue showcases aromas of savoury spices, dark red berries, and root beer cask. The palate reveals intricacies of prickly pear, pomegranate, and roasted nuts, supported by a framework of acidity and chalky tannins. Nicolas Jay is co-founded by acclaimed winemaker Ken Wright, known for his expertise in Oregon Pinot Noir.
