Following in the footsteps of its sibling brand That Boutique-y Whisky Company, That Boutique-y Rum Company is an independent bottler of rums produced all over the world. This release hails from Australia and it was distilled at Mt Uncle Distillery, in Queensland. The rum was produced from cane syrup from the local sugar factory and matured in an ex-red wine hogshead for 12 years. The result is a sweet and creamy rum, boasting notes of plum compote, rhubarb, tropical fruits, some green tea and oak tannins.
