Château Mouton Rothschild is the iconic Premier Cru Classé estate located in the Pauillac appelation. The property spans 90 hectares of vines planted on gravelly soils. The 1990 vintage is a blend of 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc and 9% Merlot, harvested between 18th September and 3rd October. The wine boasts a silky tannic structure which suggests that it has reached full maturity. The 1990 bespoke label was designed by the late artist Francis Bacon.
