Based in the village of Morey-Saint-Denis, Domaine Jérôme Castagnier produces a wide selection of white and red wines, from village-level to the finest grand crus. Since 2013 Jérôme has adopted a minimal-intervention approach to his winemaking, meaning there is no chaptalisation, acidification, fining or filtering. ‘Les Chaffots 2019’ comes from a premier cru vineyard within the appellation of Morey-Saint-Denis. Expect a fruit-forward and expressive cuvée, with notes of strawberries and pastry, lifted by a touch of spice on the finish.
