Montevertine Rosso 2019 is a full-bodied Tuscan red wine made from 100% Sangiovese. It is perhaps the best-known wine from within the Chianti Classico boundary that does not qualify for the Chianti Classico designation. Made without compromise by Sergio Manetti for more than three decades until his death in 2000, Montevertine is now produced by Martino Manetti, Sergio`s son, and Paolo Salvi, the protégée of legendary consultant Giulio Gambetti, both of whom remain dedicated to the winemaking principles of their forebears.
