Montevertine is a cult producer of premium red wines primarily crafted from Sangiovese grapes in Tuscany. Its origins date back to 1967 when Sergio Manetti acquired a holiday property in Chianti and planted two hectares of vines, initially intending to produce wine for friends and family. Currently overseen by Sergio`s son, Martino Manetti, the estate gained renown. Pian del Ciampolo is produced with 90% Sangiovese, 5% Canaiolo, and 5% Colorino grapes, and aged in Slavonian oak barrels for about 12 months. An easy-drinking red suitable for all occasions.
