Valentini Montepulciano d`Abruzzo 2017 is a full-bodied red wine produced from Montepulciano grapes in the Abruzzo region of central Italy. Widely regarded as one of Italy’s greatest winemakers, Edoardo Valentini produced wine commercially from 1956 until his death in 2006. The estate makes just three wines. Trebbiano d’Abruzzo, Cerasuolo Montepulciano d’Abruzzo (a dry rosé) and this red Montepulciano d’Abruzzo. Expect a supple, complex and sweetly fruited red wine with notes of ripe cherry, currants, earth and sweet tobacco.
