This classic Dutch rye whiskey was made from a 50/50 mix of malted and unmalted rye, an 8–9-day fermentation, a low and slow distillation, and a very narrow cut point between 68-70%. The spirit was then matured in a new toasted and #3 charred American oak barrel, with charred heads, for 9 years. Expect notes of citrus fruit, ginger, pine needles, fennel and earthy spices.
