Each bottle from the Midleton Very Rare series is a blend of the finest distillates which have been handpicked by the distillery manager Barry Crockett. The 2011 release reveals aromas of rich flinty pot spices, bitter almonds, green apples and a touch of citrus. The palate carries some honey sweetness, vanilla and notes of barley grains.
