From the superb Mas Amiel is this single vintage ‘grenat’ style Maury, a wine aged in a non-oxidative way made from 100% Grenache Noir. It is unctuous and rich yet brilliantly balanced (for 15.5% ABV and 105g of residual sugar!), with flavours of plums, kirsch, dark chocolate and spices. Serve lightly chilled with chocolate desserts or blue cheese.
