Mars Kasei Blended Malt

A lesser-known Japanese whisky producer when compared to Suntory and Nikka, Mars Shinshu distillery was built in 1985, at an altitude of 798 metres in the small village of Miyata. Mars Kasei is made from a blend of both malt and grain whiskies, married from a variety of barrels. The nose is filled with white flower aromas and ripe fruits, while the palate offers notes of warm spices, green apples, white grapes and honey.
