Marina Coppi Timorasso Grand Fosto 2016 is a full-bodied white wine from the Colli Tortonesi region of Piedmont. Vigne Marina Coppi was established in 2003 in the town of Castellania, the birthplace of Marina`s father Fausto, one of the greatest cyclists of the 20th century. Timorasso is a highly regarded white grape variety native to Piedmont in northern Italy. Grapes for this wine come from the vineyards of Gabetto and the Montagnina cru. The wine was aged in stainless steel tanks for eight months with manual battonage, then a further six months in bottle before release. Expect an intense nose of melon, apples, and acacia notes. The palate is full and lively with flavours of nectarines, yellow apples, flowers and citrus fruit, balanced by refreshing acidity and a long mineral finish.
