Clemens Busch is a pioneering winemaker in the famous Mosel region of Germany, dedicated to making high quality expressions of Riesling from 16 hectares of organic and biodynamically cultivated vineyards. Fass 23 is a later-harvested, off-dry Riesling from the revered, grey slate dominant Marienburg vineyard. Now with a little extra bottle age, the 2011 is really beginning to hit its stride, with notes of honeyed stone fruits, citrus and slatey minerality.
