The Los Dazantes distillery is located in Santiago Matatlán, Oaxaca and produces this artisan Joven style Mexcal from 100% Espadin (Agave angustifolia Haw.), hand-harvested from the Oaxaca Valley plains. On the nose, notes of green herbs and a sharp freshness are accompanied by a palate marked by hints of sweet citrus at the peak, with strong lingering notes of roasted agave, a persistent citrus flavour and smoky aftertaste.
