Littorai Charles Heintz Vineyard Chardonnay 2020 is a single-vineyard, barrel-fermented Chardonnay produced by the family-owned Littorai winery on California`s Sonoma Coast. The Charles Heintz vineyard lies at 240m above sea level on a gently rolling plateau seven miles west of the Pacific Ocean. Littorai was the first winery to bottle a single vineyard Chardonnay from this vineyard with the 1994 vintage and has been sourcing fruit from the same parcel within the organically farmed vineyard ever since. "The 2020 Chardonnay Charles Heintz Vineyard is endowed with notable density and power. Orchard fruit, white flowers, almond and strong mineral accents are front and centre. Texturally, the 2020 has a phenolic-like quality that is distinctive, but not especially typical of Heintz Chardonnays." Vinous, 2023
