Winemaker Erin Pooley grew up in Sydney and this Californian Semillon is her homage to the iconic wines of the Hunter Valley in New South Wales. The Luchsinger Vineyard is located in Lake County, just north of Napa County and has the perfect microclimate for this lesser-planted variety. This is a bright and tensile wine with slight phenolic texture and bags of tart gooseberry, beeswax, grilled nuts and honey flavours.
