An English Pinot Noir from the hot and dry 2018 vintage. Grapes were cold soaked prior to fermentation on the skins and spent 19 months in 1-5 year old French oak barriques prior to bottling. Pale cherry red with a vibrant translucency the wine displays raspberry and clove characters on the nose. The palate is light, elegant and rich, being underpinned by an earthy spiciness and a long finish. This wine will gain further complexity with further cellaring.
