Les Crêtes Torrette Superiore 2019 is a medium-bodied, aromatic red blend made predominantly from the Petit Rouge grape variety native to the Valle d`Aosta, along with smaller proportions of other local red varieties. With earth-toned aromatics, intense forest berry fruit hints of tobacco, this red also offers mouthwatering acidity and lovely purity of fruit from its maturation in stainless steel. Until recently unknown outside Italy, the family winery of Les Crêtes is located in the picturesque Alpine town of Aymavilles with the cellar just a mile away from the Monte Bianco tunnel. The vineyards of Les Crêtes grow at mountain elevations of up to 1,000m of soils of sand and rocky limestone.
