Château Léoville-Las Cases is a Second Growth wine estate situated in the Saint-Julien appellation. The Delon family has been the owner of the estate since the late 19th century, consistently enhancing its stature and success. The Grand Vin from the 2010 vintage is a blend of 82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot and 8% Cabernet Franc, aged in 75% new oak. A rich and multi-layered wine, evoking aromas of ripe summer berries, cassis, cedar shavings, and earthy undertones. Impressive depth and velvety tannins, leading to a grand and lingering finish.

Chateau Leoville Las Cases

Chateau Leoville Las Cases

The illustrious 2ème Cru Classé property, Château Léoville Las Cases, has cemented its reputation as one of the most consistent producers of exceptional quality wines in the Saint Julien appellation in Bordeaux. Spanning 98ha, the estate produces its celebrated first wine - a Cabernet Sauvignon dominant blend - in addition to a second wine from young vines, Le Petit Lion. These stellar reds are renowned for their structure and longevity and are produced from the beating heart of the estate, on deep, well-draining gravel soils.

Two further wines are made from a separate site, situated further back from the river with more sandy-gravels: Clos de Marquis and Petite Marquise. The key varietals that make up these powerful red wines are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc.
