Château Léoville-Las Cases is a Second Growth wine estate situated in the Saint-Julien appellation. The château produces a Grand Vin and a second wine called Clos du Marquis that has been released since 1902. This is the 1989 vintage of the flagship wine, showing a lovely nose of dark fruit, tobacco, and cassis. On the palate, the wine is well-balanced with slightly drying but integrated tannins and notes of red fruit and dark cherries.
