This stunning dessert wine hails from Goriška Brda, Slovenia, crafted with Ribolla Gialla. The grapes undergo a 12-month drying process in a well-ventilated room before fermentation in a small tank. ‘Leonardo’ is then aged in 225-liter barrels for five years. On the nose, you`ll find captivating notes of gold and spice, along with deep, ripe dried apricots. The wine impresses with its delightful sweetness, akin to super-ripe apricots, yet maintaining a refreshing and enduring character on the palate.
