After studying oenology in Beaune and gaining experience at a co-operative in Pupillin, Fabrice Dodane assumed the role of manager at Domaine de Saint-Pierre. He eventually took complete control of the estate in 2011. Situated in Matheny, the domaine spans six hectares across the Arbois and Côtes de Jura AOCs, featuring vines planted in limestone and marl soils. The wines undergo fermentation with native yeasts, resulting in bottles that beautifully capture the balanced expression of the region`s terroir. `Le Rouge,` a blend of Ploussard and Pinot Noir, opens with dark spice and intriguing herbal notes, gradually revealing layered fruit complexities.
