A joint effort from the mother and daughter team of winemakers, Elisabetta Geppetti and Clara Gentili, Le Pupille is the result of their passion for Syrah. The grapes come from the two estate-owned vineyards Pian di Fiora and La Vigna del Palo and are meticulously fermented and blended, including the use of clay amphorae. On the nose, fresh notes of red berries and spices plus a touch of black pepper. The palate is complex, with gripping tannins, a fine acidity and a well-balanced body.
