Laurel Glen Cabernet Sauvignon 1985

HED90971 75cl
Laurel Glen Cabernet Sauvignon 1985 is a full-bodied and mature Cabernet Sauvignon from the Sonoma County region of California. Laural Glen has been producing Cabernet since 1968. The property was purchased in 1977 by Patrick Campbell, who would go on to become a leading figure in California winemaking. From the beginning, Laurel Glen wines have been made with minimal intervention, using gravity flow whenever possible. These are elegantly characterful Sonoma Mountain Cabernets which combine structure and suppleness; intensity on the palate and fine aromatics. 1985 was noted as an exceptionally good year for Californian wine. "Deep and concentrated with rich, compact currant, plum, cassis fruit that`s sweet and fleshy yet tightly wound, lush yet firm and tannic. It`s beautifully proportioned, deliciously fruity, complex, finishing with toasty oak. Best yet from Laurel Glen." Wine Spectator
