Lacoste-Borie is the second wine from Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste, a renowned Fifth Growth wine estate situated in the Pauillac appellation. The 2016 vintage is a blend of 61% Cabernet Sauvignon, 29% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc, made in a forward style for relatively early drinking. The wine offers notes of cedar wood, blackcurrants and graphite, complemented by orange zest and mixed herbs. Drinking well now but will age nicely for longer.
