`Krug Rosé NV is a rosé Champagne produced by the house of Krug. Part of Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy since 1999, Krug is considered one of the grandest of the Grande Marques. The maison was originally founded in 1843 by Joseph Krug, a German national who learned his trade at Champagne Jacquesson. More than two decades ago Krug began releasing its Rosé cuvée as numbered editions. This non-vintage bottling is the 27th edition is a blend of 57% Pinot Noir, 23% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Meunier. It is based on wine from the 2015 vintage, with the addition of 55% of reserve wines, the oldest going back to 2005. "This delightful rosé boasts a stunning, fresh bouquet of peony, blueberry, grapefruit, blood orange, warm biscuits and spring flowers. It has a medium to full-bodied texture and is both tense and crystalline, with a delicate yet concentrated structure and a salty, lingering and mouthwatering finish." Wine Advocate, 2023

A Champagne house that needs no introduction. Founded by Johann Krug in Reims in 1843, this celebrated Maison specialises in prestige cuvées, including the multi-vintage flagship Grande Cuvée as well as the glorious Krug Clos d'Ambonnay, made exclusively from Pinot Noir. Another highlight is the highly coveted Clos du Mesnil - a rare Blanc de Blancs produced only in exceptional years from a single, tiny 1.84ha plot of Chardonnay grapes in the heart of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. Krug has been owned by LVMH since 1999.

While Krug's excellent Grande Cuvée and Rosé have historically been released as multi-vintage blends with no indication of year, the team have now started including edition numbers so consumers can easily discover the age and provenance of the base wines used in the blend.
