This marks the debut of Kilchoman`s 16-year-old single malt. Crafted from a blend of 21 casks, mostly ex-bourbon barrels with a touch of ex-oloroso sherry, it results in a meticulously balanced whisky. On the nose, aromas of vanilla, butterscotch, and caramel are followed by subtly integrated peat smoke and coastal undertones. On the palate, more vanilla nuances from the bourbon casks and spice from the sherry casks, harmoniously creating a depth of flavours.
