Kilchoman Sauternes Cask Matured

Kilchoman Sauternes Cask Matured is a limited-edition single malt whisky produced at the Kilchoman Distillery on the Isle of Islay. Located on Rochside Farm near Machir Bay – the most westerly distillery location in Scotland – Kilchoman was founded by former wine trade professional Anthony Wills in 2005 and quickly established itself as an emblematic producer of peated single malt from the islands of Islay. This no-age-statement expression was matured exclusively in sweet wine casks from Sauternes in Bordeaux. Expect buttery sweetness with notes of barbecued pineapple, candied ginger and floral peat smoke.
