Kaiken Aventura Valle de Canota Malbec 2021 is a full-bodied red wine from the Mendoza region of Argentina. Kaiken is an Argentine winery founded by renowned Chilean winemaker Aurelio Montes in 2002. The winery`s name, inspired by the Patagonian wild goose (Caiquén) that flies across the Andes between Chile and Argentina, reflects the founder`s passion for exploring new horizons in winemaking. The Kaiken Aventura range represents Kaiken`s exploration of lesser-known sub-regions of Mendoza. This release is made from 100% Malbec grapes sourced from the Canota Valley, a geographical indication (GI) area known for its high-altitude vineyards and cool climate, which provides ideal conditions for growing Malbec grapes with intense flavours and balanced acidity. Expect vivid, concentrated strawberry and blackberry fruit with notes of chocolate and dried herbs. The palate is characterised by soft, ripe tannins, a firm body and a creamy texture.
