Jordan is a family-owned estate situated in Alexander Valley AVA, in Sonoma County. The winery was founded in 1972 by Tom and Sally Jordan, who were inspired by the great wine estates of France. It is one of the few producers that makes only two wines. a Russian River Valley Chardonnay and an Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. This particular release hails from the 1985 vintage, when the exceptional weather in Alexander Valley produced ripe, rich and fleshy Cabernet Sauvignons with superb balance.
