The Johannishof winery is located in the famous village of Johannisberg in Germany’s Rheingau region. It is run by Johannes and Sabine Eser, the 10th generation of the family and they have been running the winery since 1999. This is a wonderful mature example of sweet Riesling produced from the Holle vineyard.
Tasting this wine upon release, wine critic Robert Parker described this has having a “knock-out bouquet” with “ripe, splendidly rich, well-defined flavours, and a smashingly long finish.”
