Invergordon is a relatively young distillery, having only been founded in 1960, with the intention of being a large-scale grain whisky production. This 25-year-old single grain was distilled on their premises over three decades ago, in 1991 – incidentally, the same year that the Soviet Union officially ceased to exist. It is an independent bottling from That Boutique-y Whisky Company, who only released 340 bottles.
