Based in Miyagi Prefecture, the Ichinokura Brewery was founded in 1973 when four local breweries merged with the common vision of producing handcrafted sake. Taru is a distinctive style of sake, which spends a maturation period in cedar casks. The result is a rich and creamy expression, with spicy notes but mellow in texture.
