Hyde de Villaine is a venture between the Hyde Family of Napa Valley and the de Villaine Family of Burgundy. The families, related by marriage, share long histories in French and Californian winemaking. Produced from vines aged 24 to 36 years, this 100% Chardonnay boasts fresh floral and citrus complexity. Citrus, pear, and apricot accompanied by a wonderfully balanced acidity and freshness that suggests long ageability. Mineral depth and a rich mouthfeel speak toward the old world style of this mouth-watering Chardonnay. Elegant and restrained, with a long-lasting finish.
