The `Cuvée des Enchanteleurs` is the former prestige cuvée produced by Maison Henriot. Six years ago, it was succeeded by `Hemera` under the guidance of the then chef de cave Laurent Fresnet. Both wines share several characteristics, featuring an equal blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay sourced from base wines originating from the same six villages. Mailly, Verzy, Verzenay, Mesnil sur Oger, Avize, and Chouilly. This particular bottling hails from the 1964 vintage, a `solar` year characterized by intense summer heat, consistently reaching 30°C or above.
