A piece of history in bottle, this 1975 vintage champagne from Baron Philippe de Rothschild is pure class. Despite the long ageing in bottle, the nose releases fresh citrus notes, toasted bread and marzipan. The palate opens up to candied ginger, lemon zest, apples, pears and charred orange peel. The finish carries hints of burnt caramel, lemon zest and minerality.
