Hedonistas de la Fe Tepeztate is a premium Mezcal produced by maestro mezcalero Gerardo `Kaín` Santiago Hernandez in Santiago Matatlan, Oaxaca, Mexico. This Mezcal is produced with agave marmorata, which typically takes between 20 and 22 years to reach maturity. Once harvested, the agaves are traditionally cooked in an underground pit oven, milled by tahona, fermented in wooden vats with open air yeasts, and double-distilled in copper alembic stills. Expect a smoky, earthy Mezcal with notes of herbs, citrus and dried fruits.
