This a wonderful effort from esteemed Pessac-Léognan estate, Château Haut-Bailly. A blend of 53% Merlot with 47% Cabernet Sauvignon, it is an elegant and beautifully balanced wine, with notes of clove-infused black fruits, cedar, tobacco and earth. Though drinking superbly now it should continue to evolve over the next 5-8 years.
