Gyotaku Mittnacht Freres 2022

HED23966 75cl 14%
The Gyotaku Mittnacht Freres is an intriguing white wine produced by Christophe Mittnacht, a renowned biodynamic winemaker in Alsace. The name ‘Gyotaku’ is a Japanese term, which translates to ‘fish printing’ – a traditional Japanese art form that involves creating imprints of fish using ink and paper. This name reflects the wine`s affinity for pairing with fish dishes, particularly sushi and sashimi. As for the wine itself, the Gyotaku Mittnacht Freres is a unique blend of three grape varieties. Pinot Blanc, Riesling, and Gewurztraminer. The wine showcases lively citrus and stone fruit flavours, along with a touch of floral and mineral notes, reflecting the terroir of Alsace.
