Grosperrin Petite Champagne 1973 is a vintage Cognac bottled by Cognac Grosperrin. Founded in 1981 by Jean Grosperrin, Grosperrin is one of the last independent Cognac bottlers. The company is now managed by Jean`s son, Guilhem. Distilled in 1973, this well-aged eau-de-vie was made using grapes grown in the Petite Champagne cru. The spirit was sourced by Grosperrin from a well-known family of notaries in the Cognac region. Matured for more than five decades in casks, it has now reached peak maturity, and perfectly demonstrates the fine character of Petite Champagne’s chalky soil.

Grosperrin Cognac

Grosperrin Cognac, founded by Jean Grosperrin in 1999, has grown from Jean's initial role as a distiller to a renowned cognac house, thanks to his passion for preserving exceptional cognac batches. His son, Guilhem, expanded the collection and focused on terroir. By 2012, the company moved to historic cellars in Saintes, and Axelle Grosperrin joined in 2013 to promote the brand internationally. The diverse team is dedicated to maintaining the rich heritage and unique experience of Charente's cognacs.
