Gedeelte 6 Sauvignon Blanc 2021 is a full-bodied white wine from the Swartland region of South Africa. Produced from coastal vineyards planted on limestone-rich soil, this distinctive Sauvignon Blanc was matured under a veil of flor before being moved to French oak barrels to mature for several months. "Barrels of flor-affected wine are used as a starter culture, then blended into larger quantities of Sauvignon Blanc. Lovely glowing yellow/lime. Soft and creamy, with a vibrant lemon and orange tang, with a very keen edge and touches of spangle brightness. Broad in texture with such bright fruit, this was arguably my favourite wine of the tasting." Tom Cannavan, 2023
