Frontonio La Tejera 2020 is a medium-bodied red wine produced in Valdejalón in the Aragon region of Spain. Frontonio is the joint-venture of Spanish Master of Wine Fernando Mora and oenologist Mario López. The pair work with dryfarmed mountain Garnacha bushvines growing on slate soils in this lesser-known wine region of Spain. La Tejera is a fresh and lively Garnacha which sees the addition of a small amount of the white Macabeo. Aged in used foudres for 14 months, this wine displays bright red cherry fruit and hints of thyme, along with a stony mineral freshness.
