Established in 1886, Freemark Abbey was the only winery to have both a red and white wine blind tasted in the legendary Judgement of Paris of 1976. The estate is now owned by the Jackson Family group and has Kristy Melton as their newly appointed head winemaker. This release is a Cabernet Sauvignon from Bosché, a 9-hectare vineyard situated on the famous Rutherford Bench. The Californian vintage of 1974 was outstanding and arguably the best of the decade.
