Château Fleur Cardinale is a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé, owned by the Decoster family since 2001. The property comprises 23 hectares of planted area, where the vines have an average age of 30 years. The 2016 Grand Vin is a blend of 74% Merlot, 18% Cabernet Franc and 8% Cabernet Sauvignon, aged for 14 months in new French oak. It is a very approachable wine now, with an attractive fleshy quality and grainy tannins. Presented here in a magnum format.
