Castillo Perelada is one of the most important producers in the Empordà DO, a small Catalonian region close to the Southern French border. Finca Garbet is 100% Syrah from a single 12-hectare vineyard just a stone’s throw away from the shores of the Mediterranean. Now firmly in its prime drinking window, the 2007 is rich, sumptuous and refined with succulent notes of plums, bramble, wild herbs, liquorice and black pepper.
