Favia Wines is a boutique winery based in Napa Valley, known for producing small quantities of high-quality wines. The winery was founded by winemakers Andy Erickson and Annie Favia in the early 2000s. This predominantly Cabernet Franc wine boasts notes of tar, graphite, ink, and blackberries, unfolding into a medium to full-bodied palate with intricate, slightly dusty tannins and a luscious finish.
From a north-facing site at elevation, the 2019 Cerro Sur is a bold, savory wine loaded with energy. This Cabernet Franc-based wine is bursting with tension. Floral, spice and mocha accents lend striking aromatic top notes. I am so impressed with the wine`s elegance and total sense of finesse.
