Etna Bianco Le Vigne Niche Contrada Montalto Terre Nere 2020 is a single-vineyard white wine crafted from 100% Carricante, sourced from two hectares of vines aged between 60 to 90 years. The fruit is grown in volcanic soil characterised by loose ash and small stones, situated on the southern slopes of Mount Etna at elevations of 750-950 metres. The wine undergoes fermentation in stainless steel, followed by a maturation period of 9 months, resulting in a production of 1,200 bottles. Terre Nere is noted for its commitment to showcasing Mount Etna’s unique terroir.
