I Custodi Etna Bianco Imbris 2018 is a medium-bodied white wine produced from the Carricante grape variety in the volcanic slopes of Etna, Sicily. The grapes for this wine are sourced from the contrada (cru vineyard area) of Caselle in Milo at 900m above sea level. The soil of the vineyard is sandy-volcanic , yielding wines with a pronounced mineral character. This wine was matured for 18 months in steel tanks and spent a further bottling 12 months in bottle before release. Dry and mineral, with fine herbal aromas and a firm acid backbone, this wine would be an excellent accompaniment to fish, seafood, white meats, grilled vegetables or soft goat cheese.
