Palo Blanco is a white wine made primarily from the Listán Blanco grape variety, also known as Palomino in mainland Spain. The grapes for this wine come from old vines, some of which are over a century old, grown on volcanic soils at high altitudes. On the nose, expect aromas of citrus fruits, stone fruits, white flowers, and a distinctive saline-mineral quality that reflects the volcanic soils and proximity to the ocean. On the palate, the wine combines lemon, green apple, and peach, accompanied by a pronounced minerality and a subtle hint of herbs.
