Emilio Rojo is a respected winemaker in Ribeiro, a Denominación de Origen in Galicia. He is known for producing small quantities of high-quality white wines that are made in a traditional manner, with a focus on preserving the individual character of the indigenous grape varieties. ‘Castes Brancas’ – ‘white grape varieties’ in Galician – is a blend composed of Treixadura, Godello, Caíño Blanco, Albariño and Torrontés. These grapes are known for their aromatic and fresh profiles, offering a wide range of flavours, from citrus and stone fruits to floral and herbal notes.
